Fashion Foundry FAQs 1. What is the Fashion Foundry Experience? The Fashion Foundry Experience is a 2 day, in-person guided tour through Los Angeles County’s City of Industry designed to educate and empower fashion founders through real-time access to 15 local manufacturers, vendors, and apparel industry professionals. 2. When and where does it take place? The experience takes place over 2 full days, from 9AM–5PM each day, in and around the City of Industry, California a major hub for fashion manufacturing and sourcing in the U.S. 3. What exactly will we do during the tour? Each day, we’ll visit different manufacturers, vendors, or suppliers from fabric suppliers and pattern makers to fashion and production houses. You’ll meet the people behind the process, ask questions, and gain direct insight into how to bring your fashion line to life. 4. Is this only for women or designers? No, this experience is open to all fashion entrepreneurs. Whether you’re a designer, investor, boutique owner, or brand founder (male or female), if you're ready to build or scale your line, this tour is for you. 5. Do I need fashion experience or technical skills? Not at all. We created this experience for both creatives and non-creatives. Whether you’re self-taught or just getting started, we break the process down so you can leave with direction and confidence. 6. Will I be able to manufacture my line after this? Yes, the goal is to equip you with real contacts, clear pricing expectations, and a deep understanding of the U.S. production process. You’ll leave with options and next steps tailored to your brand’s needs. 7. Is this for me if I already have a manufacturer or some funding? Absolutely. If you’ve got capital or funding but lack clarity, strategy, or a reliable factory partner, this experience can save you thousands of dollars and months of trial and error.
